There are no forms of dieting that could stop you from getting fatter. Most diets are fad diets and instead of giving you the results you hope for, they leave you frustrated and feeling sometimes hopeless in your journey. Well, stop worrying and start motivating yourself towards a much healthier and sexier you!
#1- Get your sleep. According to studies, people who get only 4 hours of sleep at night have a slower metabolism than those people who get 8-hours of sleep every night. You must have enough sleep for you to feel revived and energetic after every full night of sleep you are able to get.
#2 – Sweat a little in the evenings. There is recent research that tells us that our metabolism tends to slow down during the end of the day, as you wind down from your busy day. So, in order for you to burn more calories, it would be a great idea to take an evening walk or perform other exercises that would allow you to build a sweat and burn some extra calories.
#3 - Move more throughout your day. As you move more, you increase your overall daily calorie burn. Walking to the corner store would be a better choice than driving there. Try parking your car further away from the entrance when you go to the mall. Remember, movement is key.
#4 – Increase your protein intake. Studies show that an increase in lean protein can help stabilize insulin levels in the bloodstream.
#5 – Meal skipping is not helping you lose any weight. Never think that missing a meal would make your waistline look any better than it does. Whenever you change your eating habits, your body reacts to it by slowing down your metabolic rate.
#6 - Exercise does not always result in a better metabolism, some forms of exercise are good only short term. But all exercise should lead to a much better sleeping habit.
#7 – The best way to increase your metabolic rate is by adding some lean muscle to your frame. Having more lean muscle would mean an increased metabolism. A few push-ups, squats and pull-ups will help big time.
That’s it, work to develop a healthier, sexier and better life!!! Good Luck.
